May brought some Californian dreaming with an artsy Parisian touch. Galerie E.G.P participated to Paris Photo Los Angeles at Stage 14 in the Paramount Pictures Studios.
The fair is set into the papier mache houses, cafes and stores that normally bring to life New York on the big screen but that are during that week galleries for the visitors.
We presented a solo exhibition of the artist Rachel Rom and it was met with a great success. Her conceptual approach to the medium intrigued while her cinematic style was a natural fit in this setting.
Rachel Rom was interviewed by PBS and the exhibition was a highlight of the fair according to many titles: Wallpaper, Don’t Take Pictures, Beaux Arts Magazine, Blouin Art Info, Refinery 29, LA Guest List, The Art Minion, HG Issue, L’Oeil de la Photographie, Wall Street International…
One of the perks of being in LA in May? A beachy break…
