Bruce Nauman, Composite Photo of Two Messes on the Studio Floor, 1967

This photograph by Bruce Nauman is currently part of the exhibition A World of Its Own: Photographic Practices in the Studio at the MoMA. After taking a series of photographs showing the reminder of previous artworks in his studio, Nauman created this fragmented montage that revives and give the status of artwork to what had been discarded.

This artwork resonates more than ever as we are getting ready to open Fragments, a solo exhibition by the artist Rachel Rom at Galerie E.G.P on October 23rd.
