Through Frank Horvat’s interview published today by the Guardian, one discovers the story behind this fascinating 1956 photograph.
However, he ends on quite a depressing note saying: ” I used to try to take pictures of things that were special, but photography is everywhere now. And nothing is special any more.” I guess we will nevertheless keep on looking.
