Paris. The City of Lights, the City of Love. You may remember that a few years ago lovers from all over the world started to symbolically lock their love to the Pont des Arts in Paris. This international practice seems to have emerged in Hungary in the 1980’s. Whether lovers decide to engrave their names, the date of their encounter or a heart, it seems to equally worry public authorities.
But why take a chance at damaging the Ponte Vecchio in Florence when you can simply head to…Shoreditch High Street Overground station? The fence that protect a derelict piece of land in front of the station may not seem like the most romantic place but it definitely is in line with the cutting-edge reputation of the area. Quite fency indeed!
