FIAC announces its programme

Without surprise, FIAC made it to my Top 5 List of #autumnarts events. FIAC will be taking place from October 24th to October 27th, 2013. For its 40th edition, the Parisian fair that takes place at the Grand Palais will present some 180 galleries from more than countries. The art on view will range from modern to emerging art. Ten exhibitors will indeed take part into a section sponsored by the Galerie Lafayette that aims at supporting emerging galleries. One of their artists will receive the Lafayette Prize. Amongst the prizes to be awarded during that week is the coveted Prix Marcel Duchamp organised in collaboration with the Centre Pompidou that exhibits the winning artist the following year.

The fair is however not limited to the Grand Palais and has a full programme Hors les Murs and collaborates with renowned Paris institutions such the Auditorium of the Louvre Museum, the Auditorium of the Grand Palais and the Fondation d’entreprise Ricard for the Cinéphémère in order to bring series of performances to the French capital.

The full programme has been announced yesterday and can be referred to on Art Agenda.

Let the art marathon begin!
